Real Living November 2025

Discover the Magic of West Elgin on the Country Holiday Tour The holiday season in West Elgin is about to get a little brighter as the community gears up for the 6th Annual Country Holiday Tour, taking place November 7th, 8th, and 9th, from 10 am to 4 pm each day. Coordinated by Pam Wardell, owner of Dogwood Creek Lifestyles, the event has grown into a much-loved tradition celebrating the creativity and spirit of local entrepreneurs. This year’s tour features 16 businesses across these 10 stops, including: Natterjack Brewing Company Ltd.; Bluegroves Farms; Talbot Trails Restaurant; Tranquil Earth Studio; Cosmic Oasis; Dogwood Creek Lifestyles; The Wild Goat Coffee Company; Rodney Wool Shoppe Gifts & Tea, and Erie Gardens Market & Floral Studio. Visitors can start at any of these locations and pick up their tour map to plan their festive shopping route. “The inspiration of the Country Holiday Tour is to bring tourism to West Elgin,” says Pam. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to showcase the small businesses in our municipality and for small business owners to work together. Each business is unique and has its own story to share with visitors.” What began in 2020 has blossomed into a three-day celebration of community, craftsmanship, and connection. “Yes, the vendors are at those locations only for the tour,” Pam explains. “It’s a great way for visitors to explore new products and meet even more talented local makers.” New to the tour this year are three standout additions. “Cosmic Oasis and Tranquil Earth Studio are two new businesses in West Elgin owned and operated by women,” notes Pam. “Cosmic Oasis is a metaphysical space in West Lorne offering supplies,

tools, psychic readings, and workshops for self-development, emotional healing, and mindfulness. Tranquil Earth Studio is a lovely boutique space to embrace the essence of nature through pure, clean, simple products for you and your home.” She adds that Iron-Man Welding Services will also join the lineup this year, showcasing metal artwork and digital creations. Pam encourages everyone to take part and discover the small- town magic that makes West Elgin shine. “I wholeheartedly recommend the Country Holiday Tour—a delightful way to experience the charm and energy of our small but vibrant community. Along the way, you’ll meet the passionate small business owners who help drive West Elgin’s economic growth, and you’ll hear the inspiring stories behind their shops.” Follow @westelgincountrytours on Instagram for updates, sneak peeks, and a look at the businesses taking part in this year’s tour.
