Radnor House - HR Manager

We are looking to appoint an experienced CIPD qualified HR Manager to play a key role in developing all aspects of HR within our School. You must have experience in a similar role and the ability to drive and deliver a high quality, professional and efficient HR service. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent IT skills who can handle a busy and varied workload. Purpose To be responsible for all HR processes and procedures throughout the School including recruitment, selection and retention, induction, compliance and policies, performance management, training, and development. To have an overview of all employee relations. To ensure that we are fully compliant with Safer Recruitment and that the Single Central Registrar is accurate and up to date. To provide legal advice on any employment regulation up-dates, HR processes or staffing issues.

The key responsibilities are as follows:

HR Compliance

• To ensure we are compliant, up-to-date and all staff are aware of relevant policies and regulations and complete the appropriate safeguarding training required.

• Review and be responsible for all processes to ensure that safer recruitment procedures are always followed.

• To oversee and be responsible for identification checks, work permits,

references, health checks, DBS clearance, overseas checks and any other paperwork specified in our policies to maintain the Single Central Record (SCR) at all times, including employees, contractors and volunteers.
