Event Details Painting En Plein Air – and Practising Indoors In October, Sue Garrington, a watercolourist who resides in Hyde Park, conducted a workshop entitled Composing and Painting a Field of Wildflowers in Watercolour . Sue describes her style as ‘botanical fiction’ – a mixing of real and imagined plants and flowers of all seasons, together in a wonderful tangle of curving lines and colourful hues. The workshop was attended by about 25 artists. We hope you and a guest will join us. They paint in and around London from April to October at various locations, and they hold regular members-only paint workshops at Riverside United Church. In late September, Cathy Groulx held a workshop titled Glazing Techniques in Oils . Most of the artists painted landscapes with trees and rivers.
