The Ice Box Presents, The Jolly Market by Peri Hayes Owner of The Ice Box, Markus Hawco, is proud to announce the return of The Jolly Market. Markus is the lead organizer for The Ice Box’s events, each year arranging these seasonal festivities alongside his dedicated team. The community is invited to journey through this magical Market, which will be filled with over 50 incredible vendor booths to explore. “This year is a further addition to last year’s tremendous success with 5,000 attendees; it will be at the Joe Thornton, but this time, around the walking track! This allows for a nice, seamless guest experience to be in a cool atmosphere with Christmas vendors -- also with live hockey played below.” As Markus proceeds, “We will be further expanding on our decoration to make the overall that much merrier. As we promised, we will continue to add more and more each year, so that it will always be better than the year before.” The Jolly Market, 2025, will be celebrated on December 13th from 11:00 am until 5:00 pm. The array of participating vendors range in various goods and services, about which Markus assures, “As we curate the best, the list will come out closer to the event. We hope to make this a one-stop shop for Christmas gifts.” Moreover, entertaining activities and festive treats will be available throughout the day. As Markus enthuses, “I am looking forward to the atmosphere! To have a Christmas Market above hockey games just screams ‘Canadian Christmas’. I am incredibly excited to see this new atmosphere work for the vendors and guests to enjoy.”
