November, December and January PresbyPost

MORE FROM THE CHURCH Progress Report from the APNC The Associate Pastor Nominating Committee (APNC) continues to meet weekly as we do the important work of finding the right person for the congregation to call as our Associate Pastor for Youth and Young Adults. We’ve reviewed dozens of personal profiles and interviewed several possible candidates. We’re encouraged by the interview process and believe we are making good progress in our search. Confidentiality concerns prevent us from providing more details at this time, but we hope to move closer to a potential call in the coming weeks. We appreciate your continued prayers and support. Game Day Parking Did you know SCPC offers PSU Home Game Parking in our lot all season long? Each space for the 2025 season is $35 for the full day. So you can park, enjoy some shopping downtown, then walk or take a bus over to the stadium for the game. All proceeds benefit Stay & Play Preschool, FISH, and Hekima Place. Thank you for coming out to park with us and showing your support to our programs!

Adult Education Offering - Dedicated to Holiday Foods On November 23, we're going to have an Adult Education session dedicated to holiday foods. We invite everyone to share at least one recipe, preferably one that has special meaning or special memories associated with it! The recipes will go into a downloadable church cookbook, and we'll share some of our stories, family traditions, and food associations with the holiday season during the Adult Ed session. Please use this link to access our Google Form: https://forms.gle/8maMQf2HJdfoA1J99 Recipes can be submitted at any time, but in order to be included by November 23rd, we need them at least one week in advance.
