South County Regional Park Recreation Center

South County Regional Park Recreation Center most definitely had a busy week. Year- round schools are out for fall break, so staff have had fun with the 30 campers! Highlights were fall crafts and water a water slide! Senior Games Pickleball was held this weekend on the outdoor courts. Staff worked together to help make the event a success. In the gym there were 50 playing pickleball and 23 partaking in basketball. RC planes saw 7 while Pilates stretched out 7. The Garden is officially full and gardeners plants are already looking beautiful!

The Recreation Center was alive with activity this week! Pickleball packed the courts with 114 players, filling the space with the sound of volleys, laughter, and a little friendly competition. Zumba with Laurentz brought the rhythm and energy, as 35 participants danced their way through a fun, high- energy workout. Meanwhile, Mahjong continued to grow in popularity with 11 players, mixing strategy, focus, and plenty of friendly chatter around the tables. Get ready for the Monster Pickleball Bash this Friday, October 31, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.! It’s set to be a frightfully fun day of games, friendly matches, and festive competition on the courts — costumes and good spirits encouraged!

South County Regional Park Pool

South County Regional Park Pool has not slowed down yet! With 441 Patrons taking advantage of the facility for the aquatic needs they have stayed busy. 86 guests worked out in the cool water for the Water Aerobics class. The Fall Break Campers enjoyed the pool as well twice this week. Swim teams have also had a consistent presence in the lap lanes for their practices.
