PRACTICAL POINTS (1) Josiah was short in chronology, but long in theology. (2) The head has to learn, but the heart knows. (4) The shortest distance between the, soul and the Saviour, is a stranght line. (5) Approve yourself unto God; never mind about people. ( 6 ) There is much to tear down, before we can build up. (7) Before you can look up, you must clean up. ( 8 ) When you burn the old habits, burn the bones and all. (9) The laborer is worthy of his hire; see that he gets it.
