RASCAL BAIT FORMULATIONS The UK made Rascal bait range has been designed to offer the modern pest controller a wide variety of highly palatable formulations to suit all situations. The bait range is based around 3 active ingredients; Bromadiolone, Brodifacoum & Difenacoum. Each formulation has unique qualities making them ideal for use in different situations and against different target species.
WHOLE WHEAT Whole Wheat bait is highly palatable and effective against most pest rodents, particularly where the population has been feeding on whole grain foodstuffs. They are made from micronised grain, which has been treated to prevent germination and start the conversion of starches to sugars, making it even more attractive to rodents. CUT WHEAT Cut Wheat bait is highly palatable to rats and mice however it is especially effective against mice. Whilst rats pick up whole grain and eat it in three or four bites, mice tend to ‘kibble’ whole grain baits, peel off the treated outer shell and only eating the inside. Cut Wheat is chopped in to small chunks meaning the whole surface is treated with active ingredient. PASTA BAIT - 15G Pasta Bait is formulated from a mixture of wheat flour, chopped grain, soft lard and synthetic flavouring and offers a high calorie, highly palatable feed which is ideal for most situations. It is particularly useful where rodents are being slow to take other types of bait, or where it is proving difficult to tempt them away from their current food source. WAX BLOCKS - 20G Wax Blocks are formulated using edible waxes which bind the ingredients together, including high quality culinary grade wheat flour and chopped wheat, their consistency makes them extremely durable in damp conditions. They are made with a hole in the centre so they can be fixed securely in to bait stations, offering bait security from non-target animals. MULTI BLOCKS - 20G Multi Blocks are highly palatable to both rats and mice. Formulated using edible waxes which bind the ingredients together, including high quality culinary grade wheat flour and chopped wheat. The multiple edges encourage feeding and have a secure central fixing hole, offering bait security from non-target animals. CONTACT GEL Contact Gel is a highly adhesive gel that sticks to the feet and fur of mice, and is then ingested as a result of normal grooming behaviour. Contact gel has proved to be very useful where behavioural resistance has been identified, and in situations where multiple food sources are available and cannot be restricted.
