INDUSTRY PLACEMENTS
AT PRESTON COLLEGE
T-Levels have been co-created with leading employers to ensure that young people develop the right skills, knowledge, and experience to be successful in their future careers. T-Levels are an alternative to A-Levels and Apprenticeships courses. They combine academic study in the classroom with an in-depth industry placement that lasts at least 45 days, so students get experience in the workplace and their future industry. T-Levels are equivalent to three A-Levels, in terms of UCAS points, and you can progress to higher levels of study with them (see the table on page 13). They can also be used to secure employment or a higher or degree apprenticeship. Unlike A-Levels you choose one T-Level to study.
Choose to study a T-Level at Preston College and you will benefit from our strong employer links, our industry placement team and industry experienced tutors. Learn more about T-Levels at www.preston.ac.uk/t-levels
