“Surgery may even be avoided thanks to the wonderful care I received at Restore.”

Brian received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Brian grew up in Marlton, NJ, attending Cherokee High School before receiving his undergraduate degree at West Chester University. His decision to become a physical therapist stemmed from his desire to empower others to improve their quality of life. “I believe our bodies are the greatest tools we will ever receive, and they should be cared for as such. “ – Dr. Brian Hawthorne, PT, DPT Brian enjoys working with a wide variety of patients, including sports injury, post-surgical patients, and low back pain. He has a special interest in treating runners of all ages and skill levels. While attending Drexel University he focused on running biomechanics and studied under Dr. Robert Maschi and Dr. Kevin Gard, who lead the Drexel University Running Performance and Research Center. Brian also has a special interest in treatingTMJ disorders including myofascial pain, articular disorders, and headaches. Using a multifaceted approach, Brian treats the whole patient, addressing issues related stress, anxiety, and dysfunctional habits. Brian is an enthusiastic runner who enjoys charity races and runs distances from 5k to full marathons. His favorite race is the annual 10-mile Broad Street Run in Philadelphia. Brian’s other hobbies include skiing, tennis, and strength training, but most of all, spending quality time with his wife and two children. “The care I received at Restore Physical Therapy was absolutely amazing. I was diagnosed with a torn meniscus and a fractured tibial plateau, and PTwas recommended before surgery. I was dreading this, as PThad never been a pleasant experience for me after previous injuries and surgeries. My children had both received excellent care and results at Restore, so I gave them a call. What a wonderful decision! David Huttinger developed a therapy plan that helped me regain strength and range of motion without pain. When I returned to the doctor for a follow-up, he was very pleased with the results and said that they exceeded his expectations. Surgery may even be avoided thanks to the wonderful care I received at Restore. I am very grateful to the team and highly recommend their services.” - Nancy L-R.
