Diamond Cut Wad in what may well be the most deadly waterfowl load available. How does it work? The Hex Shot, pellets shaped like dice (hexahedronal, thus the name) are stacked in a single, unsplit shot cup eliminating the space common to rounded shot and allowing for up to 15 percent more pellets in every shell. The shot cup holds the shot together as it exits the muzzle for tighter patterns, sending the Hex Shot tumbling forward, smashing into its target like bricks. Hex shot means more cutting edges and a more devastating transfer of energy upon impact improving the overall lethality of the shot.
The Diamond Cut Wad is made with three rear- deploying petals that act like an air break upon exiting the muzzle, allowing the cup and shot to cleanly separate so it doesn’t negatively impact the pattern. The special wad works well in multiple choke tubes. Blind Side’s hinged over-powder cup design also reduces felt recoil.
