SHOW US YOUR BADGE PROGRAM Through the ShowUs Your Badge program, convention attendees can receive discounts and special offers at over 50 restaurants and nightlife establishments in downtown SanAntonio simply by showing their conference badge. This complimentary program is San Antonio's way of extending a warmwelcome! Use your lunch tickets and come on down to the Exhibit Hall for a hot buffet lunch. Lunch tickets will be provided to all registered professional attendees for Friday and Saturday. The SWVS lunch tickets can also be used for a buffet lunch during the Exhibitor Satellite Concessions will be open from 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM in the Exhibit Hall (cash and credit only). GETTING AROUND SAN ANTONIO The San Antonio International Airport is approximately 8.5 miles from the downtown business district, with a travel time of approximately 15 minutes by car. More than 400+ hours of quality continuing education courses are offered at SWVS 2019. A maximum of 29 credit hours are available during the general symposium. Additional credit hours are available. Please check with your state veterinary medical licensing board for specific continuing education allowances and requirements. See page 17 for complete details. MEDIA REGISTRANTS Press and media must register with SWVS prior to attending the symposium. Press credentials will be issued to authorized media. SAFETY Our goal is to provide a safe environment for everyone. There is a chance that overcrowding could occur in some lectures. GUESTS Guests, spouses and children are all welcome on the SWVS tradeshow floor. Guest/spouse tickets are only $40 each and are for family members or guests who are not veterinarians, veterinary technicians, office staff, or practice managers. Guests 17 and under do not need a ticket. No guests or children under 17 are allowed in CE sessions. ALCOHOL POLICY SWVS recognizes the many legitimate uses of alcoholic beverages in the process of conducting business and social activities. We also recognize that the use and consumption of alcohol at our functions carries with it the requirements to consume those beverages responsibly and in keeping with our professional code of ethics and conduct. We strongly oppose the abuse and misuse of alcohol. AUDIO/VIDEO/TAPE/PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY SWVS reserves the exclusive right to all recordings or reproductions of SWVS 2019. Unauthorized recording is prohibited either by video, still, digital camera, cell phone or any other form of reproduction. This includes recording of presentations and supporting audio/visual materials, exhibits and other supporting CE materials, including proceedings. Any person attending SWVS 2019 may be photographed or videotaped and by attending gives permission to use their image in possible future marketing publications, including print, online and video. Blood will be drawn on Saturday, then packaged, and shipped to a laboratory for titer determination.
