LEVELS OF CARE Health Services at Ventana are divided into four distinct care disciplines, each with its own separate location, residential and social spaces, amenities, programming and staff. OUTPATIENT SERVICES Physical, occupational and speech therapy services are offered on a fee-for-service basis. That cost is often covered by a resident’s personal medical insurance plan when prescribed by a physician. ASSISTED LIVING For those who require some help with the activities of daily living, The Arbors at Ventana is an ideal setting. Here, residents and their families are encouraged to decorate and furnish their beautifully maintained residences. All are welcome to socialize and participate in a range of activities and outings. Meals are fresh, delicious, varied and enjoyed in a convivial restaurant setting. And care is always available: all day, every single day.
MEMORY ENRICHMENT In our memory care center, Garden View at Ventana, bright and modern common spaces are provided for the enjoyment of residents and their families, including a secure, covered rooftop patio garden. Staff have been trained to minimize stress, empowering residents to maintain their autonomy and dignity. With a director on the floor at all times, Garden View residents are grouped with neighbors of similar cognitive ability and enjoy a higher ratio of caregivers than at comparable communities in the region. SKILLED NURSING CARE The Glen at Ventana provides skilled nursing care delivered around-the-clock by licensed nurses, therapists and specially trained caregivers. Our team works directly with residents, their families and physicians to develop personalized care plans.
RESPITE CARE For those who depend on care at home, Ventana Health Services offers scheduled short-term assistance to provide relief for their primary caregivers. Respite care is available either at home or here. REHABILITATION Ascend Rehabilitation at Ventana is where short-term skilled nursing and rehabilitation care are provided for those recovering from acute illness, injury or surgery. Our highly trained and experienced therapists deliver a host of services for short-term, post-acute recovery efforts. Treatment options include physical, occupational, cognitive and speech therapies.

DINING SERVICES All residents in Health Services are served three meals a day in one of the Health Center’s beautifully appointed dining rooms. As they do throughout Ventana, menus here reflect the creative vision of chef Stephan Pyles with a focus on fresh ingredients, variety and culinary excellence. Special diets, including creative vegetarian options, can be accommodated through Ventana’s dietary manager. All meals are included under the monthly fee. OTHER AMENITIES AND SERVICES Therapy rooms, multi-purpose rooms, family meeting rooms, garden areas and the salon/barbershop are all accessible to residents in Health Services. Ventana’s full-time programming staff plans events tailored specifically to the interests and abilities of residents in each area of the community. VENTANA FIT POWERED BY COOPER AEROBICS TM Our proprietary fitness program at Ventana was designed in cooperation with Cooper Aerobics, a leader in proactive fitness and health programming in greater Dallas for more than 50 years. Cooper Aerobics provides health and wellness consulting at Ventana, manages the community’s on-site wellness center and leads ongoing wellness initiatives throughout the community.
