This station wagon isn’t for hauling families, but rather for hauling fast! Bart & Connie Beuter came in from Salon, IA, in their ’64 Chevy Chevelle two-door wagon with a full Chris Alston chassis, supercharged 468ci BBC, PPG Sassy Green paint, and picked up an “ISCA Pick.”
We could tell right off that Ron & Karen Barker from Dubuque, IA, love their ’69 Chevrolet Nova that’s paint- ed Dark Cardinal Red with a chin spoiler, stops with Wilwood four- wheel discs, shifts a Tremec 5-speed, and feeds with a Holley Sniper atop Edelbrock heads and intake.
We dug on the slick Quad Cities-based ’33 Pontiac touring sedan that Kevin Coopman brought. The too cool two-door has an injected Chevy 350, Indigo Blue Daytons with stainless spokes, a tubular IFS, and now a “Pros’ Pick.”
