A fter a well-received slate of Garage Tours at the 1st Quad Cities Street Rod Nationals last year, Harry York and fellow Quad City Cruisers busied themselves planning another great day of visiting interesting garages and collections around Davenport, Iowa, this year. On Wednesday, August 13, this year’s tour began with 21 cars as they left the Isle of Capri Host Hotel in Bettendorf, Iowa, at 9am, and headed for the first stop at the Dahl family “Old Car Home.” This was a repeat from last year, but there were new rodders on the tour that really enjoyed it. The caretaker of the museum was very knowledgeable about the cars and that made
