Chanhassen’s adaptive recreation program is a cooperative effort between the City of Chanhassen and Reach for Resources, an organization dedicated to providing programs designed for individuals with disabilities. Adaptive programming for adults runs throughout the year and includes sports leagues, art classes, special events, support groups and more. Inclusion support is provided at no cost to any child or adult participating in a Chanhassen Parks & Recreation program. Program Scholarships The City of Chanhassen offers a scholarship program that provides financial assistance to participants in our recreation programs. Excelsior Saunas coming soon to Lake Ann Park Take your wellness routine outdoors this winter! Excelsior Saunas is bringing their signature wood-fired sauna experience to the scenic shores of Lake Ann. Enjoy 75-minute sessions designed to warm, relax and recharge. International Games Month Puzzle Swap, Book Bingo and Gather for Games All in One on Saturday, November 8 from 1 to 4 p.m. November is International Games Month and your library's got game. Bring gently used jigsaw puzzles to swap with other puzzle lovers. Play Book Bingo for a chance to win a free, gently used book. Plus, stay to play any of dozens of board games and card games for the afternoon. These programs are made possible by the Charles J. Dahlke Grant Program. Supported by the Friends of the Chanhassen Library. Carver County Library Storytimes Storytimes are an early literacy experience where we sing, play, write, talk and read together. Toddler storytimes are Mondays at 10:30 a.m. with pre-school storytimes at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Baby storytimes are Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Storytimes continue November 3 through December 11, then begin again on January 12.

Winter Reads Winter Reads is a reading program for adults (18+) that runs January and February 2026. People can read or listen to books, write reviews and enter to win prizes. This year we will once again have a variety of author visits. By mid-December, look for more program details at carverlib.org .
