The new Chanhassen City Hall is bringing a fresh look and improved experience to the heart of our downtown. Thoughtfully designed and built with community in mind, the new facility is more than just a building—it’s a milestone for our city. Here are ten things worth knowing:
Built to replace the aging 1981 facility, the new City Hall offers modern amenities, energy efficiency and better service for a growing community.
From wide hallways and accessible restrooms to thoughtful layout and seating, the building was built to be fully ADA-compliant and welcoming to all.

Though the Senior Center is its own space, it’s intentionally integrated into the building design for easier access and shared amenities.

Visitors are now greeted by a single, intuitive service counter designed to streamline your experience— whether you’re paying a bill, applying for a permit or just asking a question.
A heated sidewalk will connect City Hall to the Chanhassen Library, making year-round visits easier and more enjoyable—no matter the weather.
