Hate it! I do not like Daylight Savings, no! It messes with my sleep, you know. My clock says one thing, sun says two— I don’t know when I’m due to snooze! I wake too soon, I yawn too late, My morning coffee can’t think straight. The moon’s confused, the sun’s misbehavin’— I do not like Daylight Savings! Springing forward steals my dreams, Falling back’s not what it seems. Can’t we just let time stay put? Keep my ZZZs and keep my foot! So hear me shout, with great engravings: I do not like Daylight Savings!
Love It I love it, yes I do, I say!
I’ll take an hour—hip hip hooray! I’ll take it here, I’ll take it there, I’ll take more sleep most anywhere! I’ll snooze on couch, I’ll snooze in bed, With pillow fluffed beneath my head. I’ll hit that snooze without delay, I’ll take an hour any day! You think I’m lazy? That’s okay— Dreams need time to come out and play! While others rise before the dawn, I’ll stretch and yawn and keep right on. For when the clocks all shift and sway, I’ll take that nap—come what may! Yes, I love it, yes I say— I’ll take that hour any day!
Doesn’t Bother Me I do not care, you see, you see,
This time change doesn’t bother me! You can spring ahead or fall behind, It doesn’t mess with my calm mind. Change the clocks or let them stay, I’ll drink my joe the same old way. I’ll nap at noon, I’ll rise at ten— Then nap again (and then again). You will not hear me fuss or fight, About the dark or early light. You may find me cool as can be— ‘Cause time? It just don’t bother me!
