Have you ever had a dance party in the pool? Adaptive Aqua Dance is an all-inclusive aquatic fitness class that promotes healthy, low-impact movements in the warm-water leisure pool slide area, which is 3-4 feet deep. All dance moves can be modified with assistance from our Aqua Fitness instructor, certified in Physically Integrated Dance. Participants are welcome to freestyle their own dance movements. An adult provider or caregiver is welcome to attend and assist any participant needing support in the water. An accessibility lift, a water wheelchair and a zero-depth entry are all available. Sensory warning: Loud music is played during this class and excessive splashing may occur. Bright fluorescent lighting and other aquatic activities also occur during this program. All Needs Yoga Recreation Services Staff
All Needs Yoga with Andi is designed to be accessible to anyone who would like to participate. This yoga class uses multi-sensory instruction and demonstrations and is intended to focus on building self- esteem and confidence, social skills, concentration, communication, balance, breathing, and getting physical activity in a fun way. No yoga experience is required. An adult provider or caregiver is encouraged to attend with any participant who may require direct support.
