In a city of stunning architecture, there’s still something special about the sandstone tenements which line the streets of Hyndland. It’s hard not to be awed by the large bay windows, the stained- glass and the ornate tiling. In this development, we’ve honoured those traditions of Hyndland style. The front elevation of the building is finished with natural sandstone and the rear finished in contemporary facing brick. Every apartment has large windows to maximise natural light, and we’ve applied elegant stylistic flourishes throughout. But we’ve also looked to the future, to create a sustainable energy-efficient home. That’s why we incorporated features such as solar panels, low- energy lighting, efficient heating systems and high- performance windows – to name but a few.
