claim that the distinct actions of each individual is a continuous attempt to avoid the idea of death. Thus, the need for a different vision than the realistic one was proven in order to mitigate the emotional damage. Taking only these theories into account, one might agree with Aristotle that what we believe is not in our power that it is a defense mechanism against uncontrollable elements. We can consider another philosophical approach, that of Nietzsche, who does not address intuition directly but concludes, like contemporary philosophers, the mental states of presentation metamorphose into affective responses. The content of the belief becomes true and the beliefs will not be identical to the mental states of presentation, so the beliefs are explicit. In conclusion, we cannot identify the exact source of the beliefs, but we can understand the mechanism behind them. Thus, no citizen who belongs to a civilized society should be persecuted for what they believe, as long as the rights of others are not violated and the law is not disobeyed.
