guide our lives, and we end up making contradictory choices that lead to a cognitive dissonance that occupies any future experience. It is said that without the past a person would have no personality. We are creatures of habit, and the way we act is determined by the values and traditions we have inherited, and the fact that rejecting them classifies us and puts us in a social category shows that the environment we form is pre-existing and we conform to it. In conclusion, life is going to alter our perception, and this should absolutely make us consider on a fundamental level that the patterns we adapt to need to be rational and moral rather than emotionally biased, given that our wellness is at stake.
