Behavioral Health America’s Healthiest Schools Webinar Series This webinar will guide local school sites in the application process to become recognized as America’s Healthiest Schools. Healthier Generation’s signature award program honors schools for the key role they play in advancing the health and well-being of students, staff, and families. The honor of being named one of America’s Healthiest Schools is seen by millions nationwide through awardees’ promotion of the distinction through national media and in their local community. The Wellness Conference (TWC) The Wellness Conference is an engaging multi- day event designed to empower educational part-ners such as mental health professionals, administrators, educators, school counselors, school safety staff, healthcare providers, and the community to address the needs of the whole child. The Wellness Conference features nationally recognized speakers and premier breakout sessions supporting historic California investments in community schools, behavioral health, and workforce capacity. Grounded in the elements of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child model, the conference focuses on the interconnectivity between students, families, communities, and schools in the pursuit of health and wellness. School-Based Wellness Center Tours An immersive day of School-Based Wellness Center Tours, where participants will visit various wellness centers on school campuses throughout San Bernardino County. This unique opportunity allows attendees to explore different wellness center models, engage with guided questions, and receive a comprehensive wellness center tool kit. Additionally, participants will have the chance to interact with other Local Education Agencies (LEAs) in the county who are also developing wellness centers on their campuses. This event is designed to inspire and equip educators, administrators, and community leaders with the knowledge and resources to enhance student well-being through effective wellness center implementation.
