Professional Learning for Educators and Administrators The Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) program provides trainings designed to support school administrators and educators in preventing and reducing student tobacco, vape, and cannabis use. We provide the following trainings which may be tailored to meet the needs of individual districts and school sites. • Trends on cannabis, tobacco, and vaping • Strategies to deter vaping and smoking on school sites • Other means of correction for cannavis and vaping violations • Funding and strategies for comprehensive TUPE programs Date: Trainings are also available upon request. Parent and Family Education Opportunities The TUPE program provides parent and family workshops to increase awareness about the harms associated with tobacco, vape, and cannabis use and current trends for these products. We also offer workshops on communication tips for parents to speak with their youth about tobacco, vaping, and cannabis prevention. Parent and family workshops are provided in English and/or Spanish and may be tailored to fit the needs of parents and families.
