Coffee and Community Hour The Coffee with the Community event is designed to gather valuable input from schools, districts, and community members about their needs, hopes, and challenges. This event will provide a relaxed, informal setting where participants can share their perspectives and experiences. The aim is to collect data on what the community requires, their aspirations for the future, and the obstacles they face. Insights gained from this event will help inform future initiatives and programs, ensuring they are tailored to effectively meet the community’s needs and support its growth and development. Each region will have its own dedicated event, allowing for a focused discussion on local issues and opportunities. In-Person Workshops Community Schools Foundation Workshop The Community Schools Foundations Workshop offers a thorough introduction to the essential principles and practices that form the basis of successful community schools. This introductory course is aimed at equipping educational leaders with the knowledge and tools necessary to develop and sustain effective community school initiatives, ultimately enhancing student- centered outcomes. Participants will gain access to fundamental resources to support their readiness and development efforts for implementing Community Schools Plans. Collaborative teams from community schools are highly encouraged to attend!
