Restorative Practices Circles for Teachers This single-day workshop-style training equips teachers and school staff with tier 1 restorative classroom management strategies, focusing on effective use of classroom circles to build community and deliver curriculum. Participants will understand the rationale behind restorative practices and their benefits. The training includes learning to use affective language to improve student interactions and designing lesson plans for applying these techniques with family, friends, and students. Restorative Practices Two-Day Series This workshop style training will provide participants with staff/adult meeting strategies and tools for using staff/department circles effectively to build teamwork and cooperation. In addition to getting set up for success with circles, will learn the “why” of restorative practices and see the benefit they provide to staff and students. The Community of Transformational Practice (CoTP) provides strategic guidance for planning and implementing the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP).
