So far this year, NAI Emory Hill has already leased and sold a total of nearly a quarter million s/f of indus- trial space both in its portfolio and third party properties, with the value of transactions totaling more than $5 million. “Our brokers are definitely seeing a slight uptick in in- dustrial transactions,” Kilian said. “We’re hoping it’s a sign of more of the same on the horizon.” He said Emory Hill, which owns multiple buildings in several industrial parks, has seen a lot of movement recently including several new leases or renewals at the Airport Industrial Park in New Castle, DE, Interchange Industrial Park in Elkton, MD and Midatlantic II building in West Deptford, NJ. Some of the highlights have included: Global shipping firmAAE Express leases New Castle, DE warehouse AAE Global Express, a ship- ping company that provides express products and services between Asia and the United States, recently leased 50,000 s/f of industrial space at 70 McCullough Dr. in South- gate Industrial Park in New Castle. NAI Emory Hill agent Steve Dobraniecki repre- sented AAE Global Express in the transaction which was valued at close to one million dollars. Established in New York in 1998, AAE provides international door to door courier services and logistic solutions through hubs in major cities. Bloom Energy leases space in Interchange In- dustrial Park in Elkton, MD Bloom Energy Corporation leased 28,901 s/f of space in the Interchange Industrial Park in Elkton, MD to add warehouse space to its existing location on the University of Delaware STAR campus. The property is owned by Emory Hill and was represented in the transaction by Neil Kilian.
