The municipality wishes to fulfill a need for both the By-law Enforcement services and the public works department with this full time permanent position.

Key Job Duties:
- Under the supervision of the Chief Administrative Officer and the Senior By-Law Enforcement Officer, this position is responsible for conducting inspections in order to establish compliance with by-laws, investigate complaints and interpret and enforce municipal regulatory by-laws and provincial laws affecting persons and/or properties. (ie: parking, yard maintenance, animal control, noise regulations and others) - Under the supervision of the Road Superintendant, the candidate will be responsible for road maintenance, repairs, sweeping, patrolling streets on a flexible schedule, grass mowing and others. Core Competencies: • Post secondary education or professional qualifications in the field of law enforcement. • Knowledge of the Provincial Offences Act, other acts and codes, municipal by-laws and property standards. • Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and under pressure while having competencies in customer service and conflict resolution. • Must be in good physical health to complete various required tasks
The ideal candidate is dynamic self-starter with excellent personal skills and a passion for success.
Requirements: • Experience in sales • Bilingual (English, French), both oral and written • Demonstrated teamwork • Possess valid driver’s license and use of vehicle
