Featured Sake MIYAVI SAKE

MIYAVI's encounter with Tokubei Masuda, the 14th head of “Tsuki no Katsura,” was born from a chance encounter. MIYAVI always wanted to promote the wonders of Japan to the world. One day he heard a rumour that there was a “ miyabi ” (meaning elegant in Japanese) sake in Fushimi, Kyoto, and that it was the oldest sake brewery in the region.

MIYAVI made his first visit to “Tsuki no Katsura” in the autumn of 2018.

MIYAVI observed their sake brewing process and was impressed by the depth, care, taste, aroma, commitment, tradition and history of the sake produced by "Tsuki no Katsura," and hit it off with Tokubei Masuda. Together they decided to create "MIYAVI SAKE," with the aim of spreading Japan’s sake to the world. After a year of preparation, MIYAVI SAKE was born in 2019. MIYAVI, who has reached hearts across the world with his guitar, has now teamed up with the oldest sake brewery in Fushimi, Kyoto, "Tsuki no Katsura," to bring the flavour of Japan to the world.
