Circuit Troubleshooting Exercise

Year One Project

Students will practice diagnosing and troubleshooting common electrical circuit faults in a controlled lab environment. Using multimeters and other diagnostic tools, they will identify issues such as short circuits, open circuits, and faulty components, and develop strategies to rectify them effectively.

Commercial Electrical Installation Year Two Project

In this project, students will collaborate to plan and execute the electrical installation for a commercial building. Working from blueprints, they will install and wire complex electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and specialized equipment connections. Emphasis will be placed on meeting industry standards, adhering to safety regulations, and coordinating with other trades.
