Eligibility Requirements To join our program, students must be at least 16 years old by September 1 of the current school year, have completed their sophomore year successfully, and maintain a strong attendance record. Program Statement Upon completion of our program, students meeting state-mandated requirements for grades and attendance will emerge with the foundational knowledge and skills of a Certified Nursing Assistant. With over 70 hours of direct patient care at local community nursing facilities, you'll test for certification as a Maine State Certified Nursing Assistant and be well-equipped to pursue further opportunities in the dynamic field of healthcare.
