Upon completing two years of the Outdoor Power Equipment program, students not only gain the foundational skills necessary to excel in the small motors industry but also acquire versatile skills applicable to a myriad of careers in mechanics. With hands-on experience and professional guidance, graduates are well-equipped to advance quickly in their careers and make valuable contributions to the field..
In the second year, students delve deeper into vehicle classes with a focus on advanced technology and independent diagnostics and repair. Coursework covers topics such as advanced electrical systems, fuel injection, ignition systems, transmissions, and suspension systems. Advanced measuring tools are introduced to further develop students’ technical proficiency.

Engines/Marine program equips students with the skills to inspect, service, and repair a range of small engines, marine outboard motors, compact tractors, recreational vehicles, and motorcycles. In the first-year course, students learn fundamental concepts such as engine theory, precision tool usage, and basic engine overhaul techniques. Emphasizing hands-on learning, students work with various equipment including motorcycles, lawn and garden tools, snowmobiles, and ATVs. Participation in SkillsUSA is encouraged to enhance leadership skills and provide opportunities for state and national competitions. Technicians
