BSc Management with Marketing This new course is designed to give students a competitive edge in one of today’s most dynamic industries. They will explore how consumers make decisions, how to build strong and memorable brands, and how to craft compelling communications. Students will gain a solid foundation in business and management, becoming strategic, creative, and analytical thinkers ready to solve real-world business challenges. They will also tailor their learning through industry-aligned elective modules focused on key marketing career areas: ■ Agency and Communications ■ Marketing Analytics ■ Brand Management (Client-side) ■ Marketing Consultancy and Strategy. Many WBS graduates have gone on to thrive in marketing roles such as: Marketing Analyst, Brand Representative, Marketing Intern, Marketing and Commercial Graduate, and Global Banking and Marketing Operations Analyst. BSc Accounting & Finance with Placement Year

Placements and Internships Within the CareersPlus and Employer Relations team, the early careers Employer Relations team source a wide variety of opportunities with employers across all sectors, both in the UK and internationally. Students on the placement year courses will spend their third year doing a work placement. The team will help students to find the right placement, complete their applications, and prepare for interviews and assessment centres.

Further support Alongside our in-house team, the University of Warwick’s Student Opportunity team provide Undergraduate careers support through skills workshops, access to job vacancies and further opportunities to meet employers on campus. They organise a range of Careers Fairs and events during the academic year including an Economics, Finance and Consultancy event as well as other sector specific events. Students can get involved in their volunteering programme (Warwick Volunteers), the Warwick Skills Award, and can access multiple on and off campus work experience opportunities.

Our CareersPlus and Employer Relations team are dedicated to helping Undergraduate students find the right career path for them, and offer support ranging from increasing self-awareness of relevant strengths, to developing in-demand employability skills whilst at university, sourcing work experience, and coaching through each stage of the recruitment process. Guidance on offer includes career guidance appointments, careers workshops, mock interviews and mock assessment centre sessions. Meet potential employers Employer and sector-specific events are organised throughout the academic year, providing students with unique networking opportunities. Bespoke employer events organised specifically for our Undergraduate students have seen the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, L’Oreal, PwC, IBM, Barclays and Microsoft visit us.

In their third year, they will complete a year abroad - either at a partner institution or through an approved work placement - enhancing their academic, personal, and professional development. Students will gain a solid foundation in business and management, becoming strategic, creative, and analytical thinkers ready to solve real-world global business challenges. BSc Management with Marketing and with Placement Year

BSc Management with Placement Year Our four-year courses include a compulsory Placement Year that offers students the chance to apply their skills and knowledge in a real work setting. Students will undertake their Placement Year during the third year of the course and return to Warwick for their final year of studies. Students will also have the option to study with a partner institution instead of working.
