How did the people feel when they saw what Jesus had done for their neighbor? Was the man or the herd o f swine the more important in tneir estimation? Was the man or the herd o f swine more impor tant in the estimation o f Jesus? Do people nowadays ever argue that bus iness is more important than men? If these people had brought their sick friends to Jesus that day what would they have done for them ? What did they do instead ? What did Jesus do? Do you know any thing very much sadder than this record that they asked Jesus to depart from them? Will Jesus ever remain an unwelcome guest? What did the delivered man ask Jesus to allow him to do? What other plan had Jesus for him? How did the-man prove his loyalty to Jesus? With what result? Is our own home and among our own friends an easy or a hard place to testify for Jesus? What special joy and blessing came from it? Is there any sinful habit from which Jesus cannot deliver a person? Has He delivered you? I f not, who is to blame for the failure? I f He has delivered you, are you confessing Him with your lips and witnessing for Him by your consistent life? Horton. call from one man. When will we learn the lesson that one man, one woman, one child, is, worth the spending o f a life in saving? And when will we learn the other lesson that in the effort to save one per son, Satan’s best energy will be put forth to block us? That it was illegal for Jews to keep swine is no argument to the contrary, for there were law breakers then just as there are now. What does Jesus’ power over demons prove Him to be? What two-fold result did our Lord accomplish by allowing the demons to enter into the swine? What did the W HAT manner o f man is this?” The world will never tire o f the stories o f the life o f Jesus. They can never grow old. The oftener we rehearse them the more the wonder o f the Man grows upon us. How perfectly human' He was! Here is the picture o f a man so utterly weary in His work that the disciples had to lay Him down on an old sail in the bow o f the boat while they put to sea. His mis sion across the sea is'in answer to a heart
