But we should obey the1charge given "to us to preach the Grace o f God now as much as the disciples did "the command to go out “ without script” then.; A young man felt that he must preach Christ in China. He applied to the Church board and they refused to send him because of weakness of body. He tried several ways and finally walked across, the United States and worked his way -to China. He obeyed God and was greatly used. The Judgment o f Jesus—God judges those who will not listen to His messen gers. W e need never fear about the result o f our work for God. It means life to those who receive it and death to those who reject it. A young man and his bride came into an eastern mission one evening. When the invitation was given, the young fellow said, “Let’s go forward just for the fun o f it.” The two went and knelt at the altar rail, laughing and mocking. The preacher put his hand on the young man’s head and said, “Be not deceived, God is not mocked for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Thirty days from that time he pushed his young wife off the precipice at Niagara Fal)s, and six months from that date, was hanged. That man today is one o f the trustees o f the Moody Bible Insti tute. Empowered by Him.-± Jesus gave power to those who had been with Him. No Chris tian ever has power over the unclean spirits around him until he has been with Jesus in prayer. A converted Chinaman by the name o f Pastor Shi spent much time alone with Jesus in prayer, and as a result he was greatly used in casting out evil spirits from some o f his fellow chinamen. There is nothing that God asks us to do, but He will Empower us for it. A young man converted in Evangelist Sunday’s meet ings was asked to give a testimony before 4000 people. He said, “I cannot speak in public, much less before this great audi ence.” But here was his opportunity and he cast himself upon God, threw his'whole soul into the testimony, regardless of his feelings or his surroundings.
