Volk Packaging Corp. Drops ‘Let Us Paxit’ Podcast Episode

Sanford, Maine based Volk Paxit, a spin-off of the Volk Packaging Corporation, announced the latest episode on their “Let Us Paxit” podcast featuring owner, Derek Volk. Volk, who started Volk Paxit in 2021 with his wife, Amy, shares an introduction to the contract packaging company whose mission was to help make customers’ lives easier during the Covid-19 pandemic. At that time, VPC was con- tracted to repackage a critical medical supply. Seeing a need in the marketplace, the new company began part- nering on other repackaging, prepackaging, kitting and fulfillment services to help businesses struggling with la- bor and logistics challenges. A year later, Volk Paxit relocated from Biddeford to a large warehouse in Sanford, which provides ample, new- ly renovated space for securing, processing, and ship- ping valuable customer inventory. The company says it has invested in technologies to seamlessly integrate with e-commerce platforms and has a staff of around 20 full- time workers. As of March 2022, the Volk Paxit team has repackaged and shipped over 75 million medical components and is actively engaged in helping many other companies avoid labor and logistics crises.
