Was it a change for the better? Why or why not? Let’s Draw or Write: Write about one way you have changed in first grade. How do you feel about that change? Wellness Questions: ● How do people change over time? ● What are some positive changes you or your family have made over the last month? ● What is one positive change you would like to make in the next week? Weekly Assessment Questions: 1. Labeling: Make a timeline. Put the events of a school day in the correct order. a) Arrive at school.
b) Eat lunch. c) Go home. 2. Labeling: How do seeds change over time? 1) They grow into plants. They go to school. 3. True or false : People and places never change. 4. Labeling: How might this family change over time? 1) A new baby may be born. They will walk along the trail.
5. Open response: Look at the picture from long ago. On a separate piece of paper, draw a picture to show how this neighborhood might have changed over time. (Answers may vary. Possible answers include: New people move in, new houses are built, new buildings are built, etc.)
