Begin the lesson by writing the words “producer” and “consumer” on the board. Count the number of syllables in each word. 2. Watch the video, “Goods and Services - 1st.” a. Before starting the video, divide the class in half. Have one half of the class listen for what a producer is, and have the other half listen for what a consumer is. b. After the video, have the students help you write definitions for each word on the board. c. Discuss each word in more depth. 3. Read the article, “Producers.”
