Building Configuration Enabling automated location-aware IoT device configuration
Pairing and configuration of IoT devices are performed manually, adding context to the installation. NXP’s ranging technologies are used to determine the position of all devices within the installation. Together, with the devices’ position, their assignment to spaces is determined and integrated into a building floorplan. This system eliminates the need for manual commissioning, and it automatically configures devices’ interactions and functionality.
