Conch Shell Mounds Anegada fishermen have carried on the tradition of piling conch shells up in the water in areas away from where the conch is found, just like the original inhabitants of the island, centuries ago. Some of these mounds rise up to 12 feet out of the water, attracting a variety of marine life including fish, turtles and sting rays. Take a guided tour out to these magnificent spectacles.
