Dear Colleagues,

The third quarter of 2025 has been nothing short of extraordinary. I’m proud to witness the passion, teamwork, and brilliance that define our Shangri-La and Traders family a quarter filled with celebration, impact, and shared success.

We began the quarter by honouring the heart of our success, Colleagues Appreciation Week was a joyful reminder of the passion and dedication that each of you brings to our hotels every day. We also marked our 16th anniversary, a milestone that reflects our enduring legacy of excellence and heartfelt hospitality. From International Youth Day to our Interns and Emiratis Engagement initiatives, we reaffirmed our commitment to nurturing future leaders and empowering local talent. Our spirit of togetherness radiated throughout the quarter, with heartfelt initiatives that brought purpose and joy to our community. The Operation Smile Charity Book Sale showcased our compassion in action, while Ladies Run 2025 energized us with a celebration of wellness, empowerment, and unity. We also proudly honoured International Housekeeping Week across both Shangri-La and Traders a sincere salute to our behind-the-scenes stars whose dedication ensures every guest experience is exceptional. This quarter, our team earned global recognition with Shang Palace and Afya ranked among the top 10% of restaurants worldwide, a stellar 94.6% OSHMS audit score, top global placement in the SLC competition, and Al Midhyaf service excellence award from Department of Culture & Tourism for both the hotels.

Shangri-La ranked 2 nd regionally and 6 th globally, while Traders secured 5 th regionally and 18 th globally out of 102 hotels. Our YTD Balanced Scorecard soared to 83.3 (+4.0) for Shangri-La and 75.7 (+1.3) for Traders a powerful testament to your drive, excellence and teamwork.

As we look ahead to the final quarter of the year, with Bordeau and Amalfi reopening let us carry this momentum forward. Let’s continue to inspire, innovate, and elevate every experience for our guests, our community, and one another.
