Shangri-La Abu Dhabi Supports UAE’s Zero Food Waste Vision Shangri-La Abu Dhabi is proud to support the UAE’s national efforts to reduce food waste through its partnership with the One Million Surplus Meals campaign—an initiative by the UAE Food Bank in collaboration with ne’ma, the National Food Loss and Waste Initiative, and ReLoop App as technology partner. As part of this collaboration, the hotel contributes to redistributing surplus food and recycling food waste, in line with the nation’s Zero Food Waste goal. Additionally, the launch of the “No Bin” initiative in the colleague restaurant encourages mindful consumption and reinforces a culture of sustainability within our hotel community.
