P ennsylvania PoconoMountains Economic Development Corporation Officials gather towelcome new manufacturer to Stroud Twp.

AST STROUDSBURG, PA — On Wednesday February 12, 2020, Po- cono Mountains Economic Development Corporation (PMEDC) staff gathered with Stroud Twp. officials to formally welcome All Weather Insulated Panels (AWIP) to the Monroe County community. Last Sep- tember, Governor Tom Wolf an- nounced that AWIP, a manufac- turer of insulated metal panels, was expanding its manufactur- ing operation creating at least 70 full-time jobs in the area. “We welcome All Weather Insulated Panels to Pennsylva- nia and, specifically, to Monroe County,” said Gov. Wolf. “The investments being made in busi- ness expansion and job creation by the company and the com- monwealth will impact both the local community and the local economy, and we look forward to continued investments in the years to come.” AWIP must increase its in- sulated metal panel production capacity to better serve custom- ers in Northeastern U.S. The project includes the purchase of an existing building in Stroud Twp. located at 1276 Crowe Rd., East Stroudsburg.
