WHY THIS PAGE EXISTS We hear these questions. We track them. We elevate them. If one leader is asking, often many more. Share yours so we can push for districtwide answers and not one-off replies. HELP US HELP YOU When you send an issue to CPAA, include school and network… a one-sentence description… dates and ticket numbers… who you already contacted… what you need… and the impact on students or safety. Email services@mycpaa.com or your CPAA auxiliary leads. We will lift it, ask for timelines, and report back.
SPEAK UP… SPEAK SAFELY We know many leaders stay quiet for fear of retaliation. Our MOU should build confidence, but it doesn’t erase history. You have us. We will not share your name or school without your consent. When you can, include details privately so we can make the specifics real and get traction. It takes all of us, in the ways we can, to change the perception of retaliation and the reality behind it. We won’t just “hear” your issues… we’ll work to help you solve them. Keep completing our surveys, join town halls and webinars, and send us messages that say what you need. Make your voice heard in a way that feels empowering. When we hear the same issue from enough schools, we can elevate it to CPS through committees, bargaining, or just a conversation… and that is power.
WHAT WE’RE HEARING
Keep the photo op but then come sit in my office. Walk the ordering maze with my clerk. “Efficiency” without an understanding of our reality…isn’t.
