The CPAA Legislative Committee exists to discuss legislative priorities to pursue at the statehouse in Springfield. The committee meets throughout the year and is looking for CPAA members to participate in this important work. The Legislative Committee also oversees the CPAA Political Action Committee and distributes funds to candidates and causes that are aligned with CPAA’s mission and values. To join the Legislative Committee, send an email to services@mycpaa.com and provide your name, email address, and phone number. The committee chair will reach out with additional details. The protections we fight for at the table are only as strong as the laws that uphold them. The CPAA Political Action Committee is how we turn appreciation into action and protect our leaders, our schools, and our students every day.
