Dr Filipov completed his training for maxillofacial surgery in 2014 at “Dan Theodorescu “Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Emergency Hospital (Bucharest, Romania) and has completed a fellowship in Orthognathic Surgery (Brugge, Belgium, 2016) & a fellowship in Head & Neck reconstruction (Bangalore, India 2019). He possesses a postgraduate diploma in Head & Neck Reconstruction awarded by the Reconstructive Microsurgery European School (Barcelona, Spain, 2022). He has completed a PhD focused on sialendoscopy and the minimally invasive management of salivary gland pathology. Most recently, he graduated from a 2-year Certificate Program in Biotechnology at Harvard University. He has a private practice in Brasov and works at Regina Maria Hospital. His clinical activities are mainly focused on sialendoscopy, preprosthetic surgery and dental implantology. He is an international lecturer on the field of dental implantology and received several prizes in national and international scientific events. He is active member of MINEC (MegaGen International Network for Education and Clinical research), EACMFS (European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery), AO CMF (Association for Study of Internal Fixation in Craniomaxillofacial surgery) and IBRA (International Bone Research Association).
