District 2 - Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, Worcester
• The Help Center in Dorchester County is currently open for video services. Customers are encouraged to utilize remote services, such as the website, which contains a chat feature, and telephone service. The Help Center in Wicomico is open and provides service to the entire district. • All courts in District 2 utilized video bail review equipment installed in courtrooms to facilitate bond reviews of criminal defendants. Each court may perform bond reviews for any location within the district. Courts continue to be involved in several projects throughout the district including mediation, domestic violence programs, and drug courts. The regional Veterans Treatment Court (VTC) continues to serve an increasing number of veterans, and District 2 continues to work closely with local health departments and parole and probation offices to ensure defendants receive the appropriate services for mental health and/or addiction issues.
