Of Counsel / Trial Lawyer Edgar R. Nield
Mr. Nield has handled hundreds of negligence cases over the course of his more than 25 year legal career, many of which were resolved by settlement or through successful jury verdicts. This has earned Mr. Nield the honor of admission into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).* In addition to his representation of Plaintiffs in medical negligence matters, Mr. Nield has represented health care professionals where he has practiced as a defense attorney. This experience has provided Mr. Nield with unique insight into the cases he handles, being able to anticipate a defendant’s position as to the various issues that may arise through the course of litigation. His ability to “see the whole playing field” is certainly a benefit for the firm’s clients. In handling cases, Mr. Nield works closely with experts in all areas of a medical specialty as well as with experts in hospital and nursing home care, life care planning, economics and vocational rehabilitation.
