This year’s 17th Annual Best of Plein Air juried art show is being presented as an online virtual gallery auction and sale, with special pricing through an auction feature in response to the continued restrictions and challenges related to the pandemic and LPAPA’s desire to support its artists. This provides the collector with a unique opportunity to add a special plein air painting to their collection while supporting LPAPA and the Artists!
The artists donate 50% of the full retail price to support LPAPA. To encourage sales and support of the artists, LPAPA is reducing its 50% share to 25%, passing along a potential 25% savings to the Collector. We've added the auction feature and buy-now opportunity to encourage friendly competitive buying and added support for LPAPA! All artwork has an auction starting price of 75% of the retail unframed price, with bids at $10 minimum increments. The Buy-Now price is 100% of the retail unframed price. All artwork is priced to sell unframed. Randy Higbee of King of Frame is offering LPAPA’s Best of Plein Air collectors a 40% discount on framing! Exhibition and sale dates are March 8 - 14, 2021, with the auction opening and sales commencing Monday March 8th at 10:00 am, and ending Sunday March 14th at 5:00 pm. LPAPA is hosting a Virtual Reception & Awards Presentation on Thursday, March 11th, 5:00 to 6:00 pm , with awards to be announced at 5:30 pm.
