T he Electrical Trade Show 2023, organised by Flaherty Markets Electrical Wholesalers, welcomed over 500 people on March 7 and 8 at the Clayton Hotel in Galway. At the event, 40 exhibitors had the opportunity to showcase their latest products and offerings from a variety of areas, including lighting, emergency lighting, energy efficiencies, fire & security, EV chargers and Wi-Fi-enabled products, to name but a few. The audience comprised consultants, specifiers, installers and facility managers from all over the area, from Sligo down to Limerick. There was a raffle organised and supported by many of the exhibitors, which included Ansell, Chint, Eolas, Reg Farrell

Engineering, Rointe, Solas Gael Distribution, TEC, Luceco, Alarm Equipment Supplies and Preslite. “The Trade Show was a great success for our business, helped by the presence of industry-leading exhibitors and a great turnout of our customers. There was a great atmosphere,” commented Martin O’Flaherty,” Director of Flaherty Markets. Customers commented that the show was very informative and worthwhile and enjoyed the banter at the “after party”. “I would like to thank the electrical contractors who travelled from Mayo and surrounding areas to attend the event,” Martin said. “I would also like to thank all our staff in Flaherty Markets for making the show a tremendous success.”
